Born in Korea,
Christina Kim is an active singer, conductor, educator and an aspiring musicologist. She currently directs elementary choirs at the Boys and Girls Club in Hollywood and regularly performs with The Donald Brinegar Singers, Pasadena Symphony and Pops Orchestra, and the UCLA Early Music Ensemble. She is a soloist, section leader, and cantor at Holy Family Catholic Church, Glendale, and as an avid mentor to high school students, she recently coordinated Glendale High School’s summer music clinic program. Her music studies began at Pasadena City College, where she assisted rehearsals and led sectionals for PCC Chamber Choir. After graduating from UCLA, Kim plans to continue her studies in musicology and choral conducting.
