Audrey Yoder is a graduate of the University of Iowa School of Music and received her Master of Music degree at California State University, Northridge. A frequent performer with Opera Santa Barbara (OSB), in their spring season she appeared as the Siren in Ben Moore and Kelley Rourke's Odyssey and as Ruth Putnam in Robert Ward's The Crucible. Outside of her work with OSB, recent roles include Juliette in Gounod's Romeo et Juliette, Gretel in E. Humperdinck's Hansel und Gretel, Euridice in Gluck's Orfeo ed Euridice, Barbarina in Mozart's Le Nozze di Figaro, and Miss Jessel in Britten's The Turn of the Screw.Equally at home on the concert stage, Ms Yoder has performed with various SoCal ensembles. 2018-2019 highlights include appearing as the soprano soloist in Poulenc's Gloria, Handel's Messiah, and Vivaldi's Gloria. In addition to performing sacred works, Ms Yoder is an advocate of 20th and 21st century art song, and has created recital programs surrounding this less-performed repertoire.
